At Little Wei-Tots we’ve had quite a busy term and some very excited children in the run up to Christmas!! It seems a long time since our Christmas Shopping event back in November - an enjoyable afternoon - Thanks to all who helped, donated and supported it. We raised some funds to help us finance the group for the coming year, so thanks again!!

We also took part in "Beep Beep" Day in November which is run by the charity "Brake". It aims to raise awareness of the dangers on the road and basic road safety. We turned the Village Hall into a bustling street (see picture) with cars and prams helping us practice the Highway Code. There were a few bumps, but I think all the children learnt how to cross a road safely!! Thanks to those who sponsored the children. Just over £50 was raised for the Brake Charity.

Our final session was our Christmas Party. We all dressed up in our best party gear and had a great time! A lady came to see us with some puppets. She had teddy bears and a baby who was very cheeky and had us all giggling (including the adults!) We played some games and had lots of yummy food, then Father Christmas arrived. He’d taken time out of his busy schedule to bring us all a present and wish us a Merry Christmas!

So now we are into the New Year, and in the next few months a few of the children will be leaving us to join the foundation unit at the school. They will be missed. To try and maintain numbers, we are currently considering an afternoon session for the group, so if anyone wants to join us, watch this space for further details.
